How do We TAN?
Our tanning bed emits UV light in the UVA and UVB spectrum to promote melanin production in your skin, resulting in a natural tan. Here’s how it works:
UVA Rays: Stimulate melanin excretion, turning it brown.
UVB Rays: Kick-start melanin production; also responsible for sunburns.
Tanning Process
Initial Sessions: Start with 10-12 individual sessions to create a base tan.
Maintenance: Continue tanning sessions regularly but no more than 3 times per week.
Frequency: Allow at least 48 hours between each session.
Safety Guidelines
At The Gym Monticello, your safety is our top priority. We strictly follow FDA and state regulations to ensure a safe tanning experience. The tanning area only allows for one user per session. Please follow the instructions and guidelines provided for your safety.
Age Restriction: Not for use by individuals under 18 years old.
Health Conditions: Avoid use if you have skin lesions, open wounds, or a history of skin cancer.
